Humana and Mercy Join Forced to Expand Access to Virtual Value-Based Care
Mercy and Humana recently announced that they are going to partner to offer their Medicare Advantage patients access to the telehealth center at Mercy.

February 26, 2021 – Mercy and Humana recently announced that they are going to partner to offer their Medicare Advantage patients access to the telehealth center at Mercy. They will also be implementing a new VBP model for reimbursement.
The key features of the partnership include:
• Mercy Virtual: Members of Humana Medicare Advantage have in-network access to Mercy Virtual. This 24/7 virtual resource provides virtual primary care in the home, as well as other virtual care services.
• Value-Based Care: Humana and Mercy are in a contract that provides care focused on whole-patient care. Mercy physicians are paid by Humana for providing quality care.
