Connected Health Initiative Creates VBP Task Force
Connected Health Initiative (CHI) announced the creation of a value-based care task force.
On January 27, 2021, Connected Health Initiative (CHI) announced the creation of a value-based care task force. The aim of this new task force is to identify the regulatory and legislative initiatives that are required to move value-based care forward using digital health tools.
Morgan Reed, Executive Director of CHI, states that the U.S. government recognizes the need to shift from fee-for-service to a value-based care system that incentivizes improve care and patient outcomes, but healthcare costs are still rising. CHI believes that using digital tools can speed up the adoption of a value-based system.
By implementing a Value-Based Care Task Force, CHI will evaluate the healthcare system’s implementation of value-based care.
